Bathe-ing The Scripture and In Prayer
Isaiah 65:18
“But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.”
A Closer Look At The Scroll
Embrace Your Destiny As The Daughter Of Your King
Rejoice, Daughter of The King. Live each day of your life in anticipation of eternity and the beauty of it, for He will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in you!
As I was bathe-ing The Scripture in prayer, I could not help but think about my life in the here and now. As I looked upon this scroll, that hangs in my office, and took a closer look at the beauty of the artist’s water-color painting, I could not help but think about the importance of obedience to My King in this life, allowing Him to paint my picture. Although this passage of Scripture in Isaiah is most likely speaking of God’s Kingdom to come, I think upon it as my life’s verse of the hope and assurance of My King’s Kingdom to come.
What shall I do with these thoughts, as the Daughter of My King? I think that it is the perfect opportunity for me to become truly obedient, in light of my destiny. It is a time for the greatest of commitment to living as Christ lives.
I must believe with all my heart…
That My King is all-powerful and the ruler of His Kingdom, and I cannot and should not do anything without Him or His counsel. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does.” John 5:19
I found this wonderful quote about understanding the Kingdom of God…
“We can understand the kingdom of God as God’s intention for the universe. God has revealed that God’s intention for our world is that all humans live as brothers and sisters, as sons and daughters of God. Our thoughts and actions can either be in tune with God’s intention or not. Only by being in tune with God’s intention will we ever know true fulfillment or happiness in this life. Prayer, discernment and knowledge of God’s revealed Word are needed to discover how one can be in tune with God’s intention.” ~William Barry
“Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, here it is, or there it is, because the Kingdom of God is within (among) you.” Luke 17:20-21 ~ Jesus was telling the Pharisees that He was standing right in front of them!
What does it mean to embrace something? It means to hold on to, to encompass and to take up especially, readily and gladly.
God whispers to me, “You have been crucified with Christ and no longer live, but Christ truly lives within you.” Galatians 2:20
God whispers to me, “Embrace, hold on to, encompass and especially take up readily and gladly your destiny. Do this so that you will be in tune with my intention.”
God whispers to me, “I am drawing you to Myself~Ponder this truth, within your heart, and respond…’With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” Jeremiah 31:3
Hold On Tight ~ Embrace Your Destiny
Today, I leave you with…

A beautiful thought for today — and everyday, actually. I’m finding there is just SO much to be gleaned from the book of Isaiah.
Loved the Twila Paris song. Don’t think there is a song by her that I don’t like, her voice is like a beautiful bell chiming.
Thank you so much, Pam!
Thanks for your thoughts Pam M. Isn’t God’s Word Amazing! The more mature we become, in years and as Daughters of Our King, the more He reveals to and within our hearts!
